On Wednesday, we decided it was time to switch it up and explore some new terrain. Over the past thee weeks, we've exploited most of the inbounds terrain that Vail has to offer and decided it was time for a new blend. Keystone got pounded the night before with 2", so we got up bright and early to hit the slopes for some opening pow lines. During the day, we realized that unlike Vail, there was still plenty of untouched terrain accessible by traversing or hiking. Before lunch, we traversed to some chutes in the North Bowl and hiked about a mile to the South Bowl's Puma run. Keystone offered $5 snowcat rides to the top of the bowls, but we decided it was much more rewarding to hike that distance. Even though Keystone didn't have much fresh snow, we found plenty of deep lines and shot quite a bit of video.
