Day 7: Crushing Trees

Woke up today to find the storm we had been tracking decided to stall in California.  Unlike shredders in California, Utah, and Southern Colorado with multiple feet of snow, we woke up to only half a foot of snow.  Motivation was low, so we hopped on the bus to Beaver Creek about an hour late.  About halfway down the first run, I decided to vent my frustration on a tree...the tree won and I was out for the day.  Pictures to be posted later when the deep bone bruise surface's.  I spent the rest of the day watching from the Red Tail camp, Doug and Whitt said the conditions and coverage was mediocre at best.  The storm seems to be maturing and progressing towards us, still hoping for a couple of feet in the next couple of days.  Unfortunately, we don't have any great videos or pictures to show for today, but we do want to give a shout out to our viewers from Canada and Malaysia (blog now recording upwards of 90 hits a day and 3 countries).  Hoping to be able to walk tomorrow and have at least a foot of snow to slash in the Mongolia bowl.  Here's a pic of the pow in Mammoth, hopefully we get half of it....
