Day 10: Christmas Eve (Wagilia)

Dear Santa,

We've had a pretty epic first week of skiing with tons of pow, cliff drops, and whiteout conditions. The clouds have dried out and the recent fronts have broken up before reaching us in Vail.  I will admit Doug & I have somewhat become snow-snobs this past week, only wanting to ski if we have 6+" of fresh pow.  It doesn't look like we'll be having a white holiday tomorrow, but all I want for Christmas is 12 more feet of bottomless powder & a snorkel....belated gifts accepted.

This is the first time in twenty years that I've missed Wagilia or our traditional Polish Christmas Eve celebration with our family.  Doug and I are thinking of all of you and wish you and all our other readers happy holidays.  And yes, we'll be skiing tomorrow morning.

Have a safe and happy holiday season, much love.
Brian & Doug
