Second subzero ski day in a row, I rolled over at 7 am this morning to find my phone reading -17°F at Vail's base...didn't move too quickly. Our parents and sister headed back to Maryland this morning, so we hit the slopes around noon. The holiday crowds have really slimmed out leaving us with virtually no lift lines. I think the Antarctic temperatures may have been a slight factor too. We lapped the lifts to keep warm with our Uncle Dave who will be here the next couple of days.

Apres-ski was pretty awesome today....
We went to the Westin hotel in Avon for a great dinner, and were joined by our uncle's friend, Timmy "The Local". After dinner, we headed to a small town in-between Vail & Beaver Creek called Minturn to grab a night cap. We arrived at the local bar, the Saloon, which really did look like an old western saloon both inside and out. Pictures below, pretty awesome. In the forecast for tomorrow sun and 20°F's, much more bearable.
