Day 12: Pow On the Way

Looks like our dry streak may come to an end this week with a front developing out in the Pacific Ocean.  The National Weather Service has posted a preliminary weather statement calling for snow storms starting on Wednesday with potential to bring upwards of two feet by Friday.  Once the front arrives, you can bet Doug and I will be skiing full days with epic photos & videos filled with pow slashes, face shots, and cliff drops.

We spent half-a-day on Beaver Creek's groomers under blue skies in which Doug gave me some lessons on skis.  As promised, photos of my leg injury after the jump & another interesting occurrence.....

To our utter disbelief when we arrived home from the slopes today, we found our hot tub opened, the jets on, and a table full of adult beverages.  Our renter warned us of this, we must have forgotten to lock the hot tub... obviously the neighbors.  They left a note: "Sorry for Partying."

As promised, here's a picture taken tonight of the deep tissue bruise obtained from the tree collision a week ago at Beaver Creek.  Only took a week to surface, not bad, good thing I drink a lot of milk.

Day Stats
Mountain: Beaver Creek
Vertical Feet: 11,256
